and she has been posting a lot about fall out boy.
and its making me go back to when they were my life.
they made my life what is is today.
those 4 guys
who stood on stage in front of me for the first time in 2005 at the Grahms Central Station in San Antonio changed my life.
I wont lie and sayi know EVERY word, because the last CD i didnt like much.
Times have changed them and time has changed me.
Their last CD was not their greatest and their last few shows ive heard have not been the best.
I’ve kind of shyed away from seeing any of their new stuff because i want to remember them as they were.
the days when i used to sit in my room and put TTTYG and FUTC on repeat and sing my heart out
to the days where we stood in line for hours and lost our voices screaming the lyrics that we felt deep in our hearts.
I have met some of the nicest most amazing people through our shared love for this band.
To the world they may be just another pop punk/emo/whatever band, but to me thats ok. because to me, they made my world.
and as i write this i have tears in my eyes. because as it felt when i listened to TTTYG for the first time, I know that Fall Out Boy understands me, understands us. They may have changed, but forever and for always, they are the therapist pumping through my speakers who delivered exactly what i needed when i needed it the most.
Thank you Patrick
Thank you Pete
Thank you Joe
Thank you Andy
i love you guys more than i will ever truly be able to express.
Today, I saw that a girl on facebook was trying to be all poetic and deep, and posted as her status: “I’m more than meets the eye.” I commented “TRANSFORMERS! ROBOTS IN DISGUISE!” 24 people “liked” it. I feel accomplished. MLIA
Hutch: Greatest deed Luke Skywalker ever did was take down the Death Star, right? As far as I’m concerned, that’s what everybody needs. You need that one bad-ass thing that lets you live on forever, you know.
